Fun At Ben’s Birthday
Ben had his usual birthday party at the local Scout Hut on the Saturday before his birthday, and Aaron had a great time playing and eating! We also went to Pennywell Farm on the Sunday (Ben’s actual birthday was the Monday). ย Here are some photographs of him at the birthday party and at Pennywell Farm holding a little pig.
Halloween Party
The Saturday before Halloween we all went up to the Woolwell Centre for Halloween party. Ben and Aaron both dressed up for the night and had a great time dancing, eating sweets and playing on a bouncy castle. We stayed there for about 4 hours in the end and it was really good and we will definitely go again next year!
On Halloween itself, Kelly took the boys out Trick or Treating with one of Ben’s friends and his Mum and Sister. They went around the local area and came back with loads and loads of sweets – a massive haul of them! Unfortunately it was pouring with rain and quite windy so they got a bit wet, but they all enjoyed it.
Here are some photographs of the boys in their Halloween costumes. ๐
Naughty Step
Yesterday Aaron went on the naughty step for the first time, after he was throwing metal Chuggington trains on to the floor!
After the first one, Kelly told him to stop but he did it again, so Kelly told him off again. She then went to sit down and when her back was turned, Aaron threw another one! She then told him off and he started laughing, so he was put on the naughty step!
The first attempt didn’t go so well as he sat there for about 10 seconds and then toddled back into the room, so he was swiftly put back on the step where he sat for a while longer swinging his legs until he realised he had been naughty, at which point he started to get upset which meant it had some effect!
Dear me….about 18 months and on the naughty step already!! Little rascal!! ๐
First Few Words
Aaron can say several words now and it is really cute when he does say them ๐
He can now say – juice, shoes, cat, daddy, mummy – and he can also say ‘yes’ and ‘no’ by shaking or nodding his head. Very clever boy!
He has also started climbing up onto chairs and then grabbing item from the kitchen side. ย We have to be more careful now with what we leave on the side as he will run off with anything!
