Netball Club
Aaron has joined the new Netball club at School which has been setup for those in Year 3 and 4, which we are very pleased about as it will give him some good exercise and experience with sport again, as he doesn’t do anything else, apart from swimming lessons. He has had 3 weeks of it so far and he has come home shattered after each one! He says he has been enjoying it though, so hopefully he can do well with it and perhaps become the Captain like Ben is in the older Netball team.
Bronze Merit Certificate
Aaron recently got another Bronze Merit award from School, which is about the 3rd or 4th time he has been through the merit system now. It’s really good as it shows that he is working hard at School! Well done, Aaron!
Ancient Greek Day At School
A few weeks ago, Aaron had Greek day in school were he had to go in dressed as something Greek. He chose to go in as a Greek soldier, which was good as we had the costume already for Ben when he had his Greek day a couple of years ago! The point of the day is for the class to finish off their project about the Ancient Greeks and also try some food and drink that comes from Greece, so Taramasalata and Cous Cous. Aaron tried some of it but didn’t like hardly any of it! (but at least he tried some!). Aaron did look good in his costume!
He also brought home, yesterday, a Greek pot that he had made. 😉
Christmas Carol Concert
Last night was the Christmas Carol Concert at school. Aaron managed to hide himself away at the back of the stage but we were still sat in front of him so we could see him for most of the service. He was singing a little bit but mostly yawning!! hahaha! He year did one song on their own and for the rest, they were joined by the rest of KS2. I think he was quite happy for it to end as he did look a little bored!
Awards Assembly
Aaron recently received another Headteachers Certificate for all of the merit marks that he has been receiving. I think this must be his 3rd or 4th now, so he is doing really well! He has also reached 100 hours on the Children’s University scheme which is for doing things outside of school. He received a nice certificate and a little silver badge for this, which he was quite proud of! Well done Aaron, keep it up!
