Wedding
On Halloween, Aunty Alex and Uncle Josh got married so we spent the day at the China Fleet Club for the ceremony and the reception. Aaron had a good time playing with his cousins and his Uncle Mike and managed to get through the entire day and well into the night without falling asleep! This is a miracle for Aaron as he is usually tired out and will fall asleep anywhere! π
Here are a couple of really nice pics of the boys during the day.
Halloween Party
This year for Halloween, we again went to the Woolwell Centre to their annual Halloween Party. It was great fun and we met some of the boys friends and their parents up there. It was busy as usual and the boys all dressed up and looked very cute and scary! Here is a pic of them. π
Aaron and his cars
Aaron absolutely loves playing with his cars and any other vehicle actually, even to the point where he won’t let anyone else touch them, especially if he has lined them up against something. Β He is very possessive of them and has been in tears before when someone else has moved them or touched them. Β I think he will be a mechanic or racing car driver when he is older!
Here are some pics of Aaron and his cars, all parked up.
Football Training
A few weeks ago now, Ben and Aaron started going to football training on a Friday evening at Goals next to Home Park. It came about when one of Ben’s friends had a birthday party there and the guy who was doing the training part of the party asked if they wanted to do a proper training session each week. All the children wanted to do this, so it started a couple of weeks later on the 18th September and Aaron was invited to do it as well. The coach is actually the son of the owner of Goals as well and is only in his late teens but looks to be doing a coaching course so this would of course help him out as well.
So the boys have been going for about 4 weeks now and are mostly enjoying it! Aaron has shed a few tears as the other boys are bigger than him and he is ‘too tired’ to run around after a long week at school, but he has generally enjoyed it and has been in goal and has even been the Manager’s Assistant (the Coach – Nathan) which made him happy! π Ben has also had a couple of moments when he has been unhappy but he has generally enjoyed it as well. Β I must say it does get very competitive though when they play their training matches! π
Here are some pics of their 1st training session.
