PostHeaderIcon Falling Out Of Bed

A couple of weeks ago, both boys fell out of their beds, one after each other within about 30 minutes! They had both been doing so well, but I have no idea why they both fell out of bed the same night. I can only assume that they had a busy day and their minds were still active so they were rolling about a lot! It was quite funny actually, as they must have rolled out of bed and not woken up at all as each time we went up, they were both fast asleep on the floor on the duvet we had put between the beds. I bet they didn’t even wake up when they rolled out! 😉 Touch wood, they haven’t fallen out of bed since and this was about a month ago now! 😉

PostHeaderIcon Beb or Ben

Aaron is getting really good at talking now and can say lots of words, but the cutest was when he called Ben ‘Beb’.  He was doing this constantly for a couple of weeks a few weeks ago and it was so cute hearing him call for Beb! 😉  Recently he has learnt to say Ben which is great, but is not quite as cute! 😉

He has also started saying ‘disgusting’ now which is really funny as well as it comes out more as ‘gusting’, and he can say all the basic words at his age such as ‘bed’, ‘cat’, doggy’, ‘horsey’, ‘poo’ (lol), ‘ball’ and he can say ‘copter’ for helicopter and ‘t’ for TV and much more.  It is so cute listening to him speak and I must try and get him on film speaking a bit more as would be great to look back on in a few years.

PostHeaderIcon Halloween Party

The Saturday before Halloween we all went up to the Woolwell Centre for  Halloween party.  Ben and Aaron both dressed up for the night and had a great time dancing, eating sweets and playing on a bouncy castle.  We stayed there for about 4 hours in the end and it was really good and we will definitely go again next year!

On Halloween itself, Kelly took the boys out Trick or Treating with one of Ben’s friends and his Mum and Sister.  They went around the local area and came back with loads and loads of sweets – a massive haul of them!  Unfortunately it was pouring with rain and quite windy so they got a bit wet, but they all enjoyed it.

Here are some photographs of the boys in their Halloween costumes. 😉

PostHeaderIcon 1st Year Jabs

Aaron had his first year jabs on 28th May.  He didn’t like it at all and was fighting through the second jab that had to be done.  He had a couple of small bruises come up afterwards and was quite whiney for the rest of the day, especially if you tried to go near his jabs area.  He was still a brave boy though!

The nurse said that any symptoms from the jabs may appear up to a week after, and he unfortunately ended up with a bad case of conjunctivitis which had to be treated with eye drops.  It may not have had anything to do with the jabs as the jabs had nothing to do with conjunctivitis, but they may have helped him pick it up through his system working against the jabs.  It has taken a good 2-3 weeks for it to fully go, with Ben having it slightly as well at one point, but it looks to have finally gone.

We are very glad there is a long time until he is due more jabs!
