Aaron recently got another Bronze Merit award from School, which is about the 3rd or 4th time he has been through the merit system now. It’s really good as it shows that he is working hard at School! Well done, Aaron!

Bronze Merit

A few weeks ago, Aaron got another Headteachers Merit Award. He has reached this milestone a few times now so I have actually lost count!! haha.. It shows that he is working hard and doing very well at school though, so long may it continue! We went to see him get it during assembly and he got a big clap from everyone.

Last Saturday at Swimming, Aaron completed his 50 metres Swimming and got his certificate. He was very proud and so was I to watch him do it! 😉

Aaron received his Gold merit certificate a couple of weeks ago but we didn’t go as we didn’t know he was getting it! Apparently he forgot to tell us or didn’t know himself, but after the last assembly we went to when he was grumpy, we are not convinced. We were quite unhappy and upset that we had missed it as we had been waiting for a very long time for him to get his next merit award as his teacher, Mrs Wall, hardly ever gives out merits. She uses her own system called ‘DOJOs’ for some reason. Since then though, he is over half way to his next Headteachers Merit Award, but I think it will come next school year as there are only 2 1/2 weeks left now!

Aaron got a 10 DOJOs award the other day. This is a certificate that they give out in his class when he achieves points when doing good work. When they get 10, they get this certificate, so well done Aaron!
