A few weeks ago, Aaron got another Headteachers Merit Award. He has reached this milestone a few times now so I have actually lost count!! haha.. It shows that he is working hard and doing very well at school though, so long may it continue! We went to see him get it during assembly and he got a big clap from everyone.

Aaron has only been back to school for 3 weeks and he has already accumulated enough merits to get his Headteachers Award (I think for the 3rd of 4th time now)! So he was presented with it by the headmaster in assembly yesterday. He smiled and seemed pleased this time as the last time we went to see him get an award, he was very grumpy. He is doing so well that he is already a few merits in to getting his bronze award, so I expect it will only be a few weeks until we have to go in again! This is completely different to last year though, when he got hardly any merits. Last year, he had a new teacher at the school who seemed to want to do her own thing with rewards, so none of the children got very many merits. They are certainly making up for it this year! Well done, Aaron!

During June, Aaron had his yearly class assembly where he had to stand up and say some lines. He did very well and said his lines clearly although a little quietly. Miss Bowyer seemed very pleased with them all. Afterwards, we were able to go over to him and he showed us some of the work he had done that they showed off in the assembly. It was all very good!

Before the assembly itself, he was presented with his latest Swimming Award for completing Stage 2 and his next merit award, which was another Silver award, by the Headmaster Mr Hancock. Well done, Aaron, keep it up! X

Aaron reached 40 merit marks so was able to get his Headteachers Merit Award certificate! He now has to restart the process and aim for his bronze again, so keep it up Aaron!
