Still No Baby
Well the baby is now 3 days overdue and Kelly is just wanting it to come out now! 😉
There haven’t really been any signs this week that the baby is imminent, there seemed to be more signs the week before.  There have been a few aches and pains but that is about it really.
Hopefully the next post will be to say that the baby has been born! 😉
32 Week Mid Wife Check
We went to see the midwife for the baby’s check and all was well.  We had a student midwife who was very nice and took Kelly’s measurements.  We heard the heart beat as well and it seemed a little slower this time, and she said that the baby had ‘engaged’, which was about the same time as Ben.  So all was well! 😉
20 Week Scan
On the 7th December we all went to the hospital for the baby’s 20 week scan. Â It was very busy in there even though it was very icy outside!
The scan went very well with the midwife saying that the baby was in perfect condition. Â In fact, the baby was about 4 days bigger than it should be, so it could be a whopper!
The midwife showed us all the different parts of the baby, apart from the obvious part as we don’t want to know if it is a boy or a girl! Â On a side note, Ben still thinks that it is going to be a girl! Â The heart was also beating very strongly and it was happily moving about all over the place.
We had some scan pictures as well which will be put on here after Christmas due to the scanner being put away at the moment, so please come back to view them!
12 Week Scan
Kelly had her 12 week scan on the 12th October, and all went very well. Â The baby had a strong heart beat and everything looked OK. Â The mid wife had to nudge the baby several times to get it to move around into the correct position for her to measure it, and at one point it looked like it was waving at us. Â Amazing!
Here are the two images that were taken which show the baby very clearly indeed.
