Over the Easter weekend, we decided to weigh and measure how tall Aaron now is, so here are the stats. 😉

Weight – 2 stone 2 pounds

Height – 3 foot 2 inches

Aaron was weighed yesterday and he is now 19 lb 13 oz.

This is an increase of 6 oz in 3 weeks which is good as he was slightly dropping below the ideal weight for his age, though there was nothing to worry about. 😉

On Tuesday, Aaron and I had our 6-8 Postnatal check up with Dr Charlotte Massey.  She asked me questions about how I was recovering after the birth and then checked Aaron over, including his hips, eyes and boys bits, all of which were fine!  Then the Doctor weighed Aaron, so at 1 day before 8 weeks old he was 13lbs 10oz!  He is definitely getting heavy now but is maintaining a steady growth pattern on the centile chart between the 75th and 91st lines.

The doctor gave us some infant Gaviscon for what we think is a bit of reflux, hopefully it will stop him being so sick and keep the milk in his tummy!

At 5 weeks old, I took Aaron to the weigh in clinic at Roborough Recreation Hall for the first time.  His weight was 11lbs 12oz, so still gaining weight well!!

Well, there were several entries for this fun question and I have looked through them all and have to award STEPH GREEN as the winner as she got the weight spot on.  Well done Steph!

A few people said it was going to be a boy but as there was a 50 50 chance it was going to be a boy, I thought Steph guessing the weight was far more impressive!

No-one guessed the correct date although Steph was very close on this as well (mainly because she didn’t guess till near the birth day! haha) and Kelly thought it was going to be a May baby.
